Rosemary V. Liverett, born on September 18, 1934, and peacefully departed on May 16, 2026, was a cherished soul whose loving presence touched the hearts of many. As a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother, Rosemary embodied kindness and generosity in every aspect of her life. She had an exceptional talent for making everyone around her feel comfortable and happy—a gift she shared freely and wholeheartedly.

Her journey began with academic achievements at the High School of Commerce in Detroit, followed by a later pursuit of higher education at Macomb Community College, where she earned an Associate Degree in Business. Early in her career, Rosemary interned at Detroit Edison as a secretary and continued to work there for several years before dedicating over 25 years to General Motors. Throughout her work life, she approached each task with dedication and professionalism.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Rosemary’s greatest joy came from her family. She delighted in spending vacations and quality time with those she loved most, especially her grandson Christopher, who held a very special place in her heart. Rosemary was the family’s beloved photographer, always keen to capture precious moments, ensuring that Christopher’s smiling face adorned every picture. Her warmth extended into the kitchen where she lovingly prepared meals, especially during the holidays, creating cherished traditions and delicious memories.

Her kindness, generosity, and nurturing spirit leave an indelible mark on her husband Richard Liverett, her sons Michael and Jeffery Liverett, daughter-in-law Melody Liverett, and her beloved grandson Christopher Liverett. Together, they hold tight to the treasure trove of memories Rosemary so carefully preserved, carrying her love forward in their hearts.

As the oldest child in the family, Rosemary was the last surviving member. She carried the memories of all her loved ones who went before her, and now she rests in peace with them.

A Graveside Service to honor Rosemary’s life will be held on May 23, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, located at 18303 Allen Rd, Brownstown Township, MI 48193.
