Robert Allen Proffitt, age 65, passed away after a long battle with cancer on April 27, 2021.
Robert was the beloved husband of Monica Proffitt and dear brother of Linda (Bob Bryske) Pawlowski and Kathy (Mandi) Proffitt.
Robert was a fun-loving guy and everyone loved his sense of humor. He was a strong supporter of the UAW. Robert was very proud of his service in the military. He was a Vietnam Veteran and a member of the Army Special Forces, the Green Beret. He loved his God, his country, and his family.
Visitation Monday, May 3, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service at David Wysocki Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren, Michigan. Interment will be Tuesday, May 4, 2:00 p.m. at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
