Listen to Obituary

In loving memory of Pam Wulbrecht, who went home to the Lord on May 6, 2026.

Born to Joseph Nagle and Wilma Wilson on May 19, 1957, in Chicago Illinois, Pam is survived by her children, Lea and husband Justin, Nathan and wife Jennifer, sister Louise, brothers Joseph and Kenneth, and her aunts, uncles and many cousins. She was raised by her Grandparents Obern and Thelma Wilson in Troy, Michigan, where she was given a firm foundation and first learned of the love of God. She had a carefree childhood as she grew up among her aunts and uncles and her younger brother Joey. Her mother remarried, which produced two more brothers, Troy, whom has passed, and Kenneth Owens. She became a protective little mommy to her three brothers from an early age.

When the court system placed her back in the care of her mother, it was too much of a lifestyle change and her teen years were turbulent. She dropped out of high school in the 11th grade and took jobs to support herself while living with friends, even chasing a boy down to Texas at 18 years old; she was brave beyond her years. Texas didn’t last long and she moved back to Michigan where she supported herself by working several jobs before starting her career at Chevrolet in 1979.

During that time, she met Bob Wulbrecht, and they married in 1982. She went on to receive her high school diploma, and after a layoff of several years got called back to work at GM Warren Transmission. Pam and Bob had two beloved children, Lea Nicole in 1987, and Nathan Robert in 1988. She always said that being a mom was God’s greatest gift to her. Though the marriage ended in divorce, Bob and Pam remained friends and she was welcomed and embraced by each of their respective families through her remaining years.

She received another gift in the year 2000. The older sister her mother regretfully gave up for adoption, knocked on her door after a multi-year search. Louise became a dear friend and a loving aunt to the children.

Lastly and most importantly was her salvation through baptism at Kensington Church. Pam became a devoted and faithful follower of our Lord, joining bible studies and prayer groups to the very end, where throughout her battle with cancer she found strength and peace.
