Heidi Donna Green, a vibrant and beloved member of her community, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026, in Clinton Township, Michigan. Born Heidi Donna Kaczor on August 17, 1947, in Poland, she came to the United States in 1950 at the tender age of three, journeying across the ocean with her parents by ship. She embraced her new country wholeheartedly and proudly became a U.S. citizen in 1998.
Heidi was a High School graduate who worked as a waitress. Throughout her life, she was known for her very outgoing personality, which drew many friends and brightened the lives of those around her. Her love for social activities was evident in her frequent visits to PACE, where she enjoyed the camaraderie and connection with friends.
Among Heidi’s cherished pastimes were playing cards, creating beautiful ceramics, cooking delightful meals, shopping, and dining out with friends. She took great joy in these pursuits, always eager to embrace new experiences and share laughter with those she loved.
A compassionate and enthusiastic caregiver, Heidi found happiness in nurturing her collection of parakeet birds, whose cheerful presence filled her home. She also devoted her heart to her beloved cat, Pumpkin, who was a cherished companion.
Heidi was the daughter of the late Boleslawa and Ludwik Kaczor, who preceded her in death. She leaves behind many friends who valued her kindness, warmth, and spirit.
Her journey from Poland to America, her dedication to her work, her love of friends and hobbies, and her gentle care for her pets are a testament to a life well lived. Heidi Donna Green will be remembered with affection and respect by all who knew her. Her legacy endures in the memories she created and the joy she shared so generously during her lifetime.
Please share a memory, thought, or prayer of Heidi here on her online guestbook.
