It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dian, cherished daughter of the late Merle and Dorothy Brazelton. After a beautiful journey through life, she leaves behind her beloved husband of 63 years, John. Together, they created a loving family, and Dian will be lovingly remembered as the greatest mom to her children, Michael (Nancy) Badovinac and Jill (Tom) Suminski.
Dian’s joyful spirit extended to her role as Grandma, where she delighted in her grandchildren: Melissa Badovinac, Jared (Jenn) Suminski, Kyle (Victoria) Suminski, and Scott Suminski. As Gigi, she filled the lives of her great-grandchildren, Carson, Stella, Sofia, and Lainey Suminski, with love and laughter. A devoted sister to Ned (Marilyn) Brazelton and a caring sister-in-law to Janice (Joe) Vongrabe, she was also a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews, treasures who will carry her memory in their hearts.
Dian will be fondly remembered for her kindness, her generous spirit, and her vibrant, fun-loving nature. She had a remarkable gift for conversation and easily brought joy to those around her. Dian cherished her family, always eager to create lasting memories, whether it was sunny days spent in St. Pete Beach, exciting trips to Vegas with friends filled with morning coffee chats, or cheering on her grandkids at their sporting events. Her love for cooking led her to joyfully experiment with new recipes, sharing her culinary creations with everyone she loved.
A visitation will be held for those who wish to pay their respects to Dian and her family. This will take place on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Wysocki & Wilk Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren, Michigan. A Celebration of Life Service will be planned for in the near future.
In honor of Dian's life and her generous heart, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, you consider making a donation to Hospice of Michigan, the Kirk Gibson Foundation for Parkinson's, or the Dementia Society.
Dian’s light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be dearly missed but forever remembered.
