Bronislawa “Bronia” Wiacek, née Nowak, passed away on October 1, 2026, in Roseville, Michigan, at the age of 93. She was born on September 20, 1933, in Borek-Klimontow, Poland.
Bronia lived a life marked by faith, service, and deep devotion to her family. She was very devoted to her Catholic faith, a commitment that remained central throughout her life. In Poland, she sang in the choir at the Cathedral in Sandomierz, and after coming to the United States, she continued to share her love of sacred music by singing in the church choir at Transfiguration Catholic Church. Her faith was not only something she believed, but something she lived through prayer, service, and steady involvement in her community.
She also gave generously of her time and talents as a Polish Language School Teacher at Dom Polski at 6 Mile and Buffalo. She was very active in the Polish Scouting Organization, an organization that clearly held special meaning for her and through which she made a lasting contribution. In recognition of her dedication, she was honored by the Polish Scouting Organization and was also voted one of the Top 25 of 2025 of Polonia Leaders. Those honors reflected the respect and admiration she earned through a life of commitment, kindness, and leadership.
Bronia will be remembered as loving family, kind, generous, and helpful. Above all, her children and grandchildren were her everything. The love she gave to her family was at the heart of who she was, and that love will remain one of her most enduring gifts.
She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Wiacek and Anna Miller; her grandchildren, Danielle Miller, Julia Miller, Natalia Thiel, and Jacoby Thiel; her sister, Janina Zabinska; and her niece, Nina Stephenson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kazimierz Wiacek, and her daughter, Mariola Wiacek-Thiel. May the memory of Bronia’s love, faith, and generosity continue to live on in all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Wysocki & Wilk Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Rd, Warren, MI 48092.
