Barbara A. (Oswald) Haapala

Barbara A. Haapala, age 81, passed away February 18, 2021.

Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Ernest Arnold Haapala; loving mother of Erik and Adam Haapala; dear sister of Patricia (John) Burnett; and sister-in-law of Joyce (Jeff) Ferris and John (Kathy) Haapala. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Barbara was a patient and caring person. She took care of her children as best she could and extended her motherly instincts to as many of her neighborhood children as would accept it; taking care of them as best she could as well. Barbara also loved animals very much, especially her pet and grandkitty, Harvey.

An interment service will take place at 12:00 p.m. Noon on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Resurrection Cemetery, 18201 Clinton River Road, Clinton Township, Michigan.
